MIKE'S WEDNESDAY NIGHT NHL PUCKLINE PUNI$HER

I like the price we get on the Los Angeles Kings +1.5 in this Wednesday night matchup against the Edmonton Oilers. 

The Kings have scored just one goal through the last two games, but I expect a big effort tonight as they look to stay alive in a Western Conference first-round playoff series. The Kings outshot the Oilers 33-13 and allowed just a goal in Game 4, but still lost as they got shut out. I expect more goals and a favorable result for the desperate LA Kings tonight.

The Chicago Cubs have won only one of their last four games, but they're a perfect 5-0 in 30-year-old rookie left-hander Shota Imanaga's five starts. Imanaga (4-0, 0.98 ERA) has been outstanding, and the Mets have averaged only 3.2 R/9 through their last 10 games, while the Cubs have averaged 4.0 R/9 over their last 10 games.

The series is tied at 2-2 following a 116-11 Clippers win on Sunday. Both teams have won one at home and one on the road, and I like the Mavs to bounce back with a win and cover as a road favorite in LA here in Game 5. 

Mavericks are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Mavericks are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 road games. Clippers are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games following an ATS win. Clippers are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

The last two games have seen just 188 and 190 points, respectively. I think we'll see another low-scoring affair as the Boston Celtics look to wrap up the series with a win as a double-digit favorite. 

Under is 8-2 in Celtics last 10 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Under is 6-1 in Celtics last 7 playoff games as a favorite. Under is 6-1 in Heat last 7 playoff games as an underdog.

MIKE'S GIANTS/RED SOX MLB MONEYLINE MONEYMAKER

This looks like a good spot to fade the Boston Red Sox following four consecutive wins. They'll face a San Francisco Giants team that is looking to avoid getting swept in this three-game series, and the Giants are 3-0 in left-hander Kyle Harrison's last three starts.

The Giants are 11-5 off a loss on the season.

5* NHL EAST CONF GAME OF THE MONTH MAX BET

The Boston Bruins failed to close out this series on home ice on Tuesday, but they are still holding a 3-2 lead in the series and I think they'll get the job done tonight.

The are an impressive 10-2 in the last 12 meetings (6-1 L7 in Toronto), and have already won twice in Toronto in this series. The Bruins are 25-9-9 on the road for the season while the Maple Leafs are only 22-17-4 at home.

5* NBA EAST CONF TOTAL OF THE WEEK MAX BET

The Milwaukee Bucks are still alive in the series following a 115-92 win in Game 5. They were without  Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, both listed as doubtful for this game, but figured out how to stop the high-scoring Pacers on the defensive end. 

I expect them to stick to the same game plan in Game 6, and Indiana does not strike me as a team that adapts well.
